Susana Gallego Fernández nace en Madrid el 22 de Enero de 1990. Comienza sus estudios a la edad de 7 años con Sergio Castro en la academia CEDAM de Música y continúa primero, segundo y tercero de grado medio en el conservatorio de Getafe. Más tarde, prosigue cuarto, quinto y sexto de grado medio con la profesora Anna Baget en el conservatorio Adolfo Salazar de Madrid, donde finaliza con Premio fin de Grado Medio.
A lo largo de esos años obtiene tanto el segundo premio en el concurso de Música de Cámara de Hazen (2005) como el primer premio de Música de Cámara del conservatorio “Adolfo Salazar” (2007). Además, en 2007 forma parte del ensemble de violines dirigido por Anna Baget, tocando tanto en el grupo como de solista en una gira por Cataluña, Toledo y Madrid.
En 2008 continúa sus estudios en el Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón con el profesor Juan Luis Gallego donde termina con sobresaliente y con Matrícula de Honor en cuarteto otorgado por el cuarteto Quiroga. Entre 2008 y 2011 es miembro de la Camerana de Aragón, con la que hace conciertos junto con solistas tales como Wenzel Fuchs, Lucas Macías, Terwilliger, José Enrique Bagaría, Xavier Gagnepain, en los auditorios de Madrid, Zaragoza y Barcelona, y con Wenzel Fuchs, Sara Willis, Hervé Joulain y Gávor Tarkövi en la Philarmonie de Berlín.
Complementa su formación recibiendo masterclases con profesores y maestros tales como Nicolás Chumachenco, Latica Honda-Rosenberg, Herr Haim Taub, Alexander Da Costa, Erez Oler y Aitor Hevia. Además, tras terminar sus estudios superiores, continúa recibiendo clases con el profesor Mark Gothoni en la Universität der Kunste de Berlín, en Madrid con el violinista Mauro Rossi, concertino de la Orquesta Nacional de España, y recibe consejos del profesor Michael Vogler de la Hans Eisler de Berlín.
Entre 2014 y 2015 hace un Máster de interpretación violinística en la Universidad Alfonso X con la violinista solista Frederieke Saeijs, que finaliza con altas calificaciones y en el que gana el concurso para tocar como solista con la orquesta de la Universidad.
Como músico orquestal, es miembro de la JONDE desde 2012 hasta 2015 y actualmente trabaja regularmente con la Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid, que compagina con el dúo que tiene con su hermana Mayte Gallego Fernández y con Arteil Ensemble.
Susana Gallego Fernández was born in Madrid on January 22th in 1990. She started her music studies at the age of seven with Sergio Castro in CEDAM academy and she continued the first three years of professional studies in Getafe´s conservatory (Madrid), later she finished the last three years of professional studies with the teacher Anna Baget in the Adolfo Salazar conservatory where she won the professional studies prize.During these years she wins the second prize in the chamber music competition Hazen (2005) and first prize in the Adolfo Salazar chamber music competition (2007). Also, in 2007 she is part of the violin ensemble directed by Anna Baget playing in the group and as a soloist on a tour through Cataluña, Toledo and Madrid.
In 2008 she continues her studies in the superior conservatory of music of Aragón with the teacher Juan Luis Gallego where she finished with the best qualifications and with honors in string quartet given by the Quiroga quartet.Between 2008 and 2011 she was member of the “Camerata de Aragón” where she had the privilege of playing with Wenzen, Fuchs, Lucas Macías, Terwilliger, José Enrique Bagaría, Xavier Gagnepain in concert halls of Madrid, Zaragoza, Barcelona and in the Berliner Philarmonie with Wenzel Fuchs, Sara Willis, Hervé Joulain and Gávor Tarkövi.
She complements her education receiving masterclasses with the teachers Nicolás Chumachenco, Leticia Honda-Rosenberg, Herr Haim Taub, Alexander Da Costa, Erez Ofer and Aitor Hevia. Also, when she finished the superior violin studies she continued receiving lessons with the teacher Mark Gothoni in the “ Universität der Kunste of Berlin”, in Madrid with Mauro Rosi (concertino in the national orchestra of Spain) and she recived advices from Michael Vogler teacher in Hans Eisler (Berlin).
Between 2014 and 2015 she extended her studies with the Master of violin interpretation with de violinist Frederieke Saeijs in the Alfonso X el Sabio university where she finished with high marks and won the competition to play as soloist with the university orchestra.
As an orchestra musician she was member of the JONDE from 2012 to 2015 and currently she plays in ORCAM as well as in the Gallego Dúo and Arteil Ensemble.
